Top Ten Tuesday [#02]: Most Kickass Literary Females

Let’s talk about the girls in book land who prove that girls can have powers too.

This is only my top ten but there are a lot of literary females that are kick ass in their own ways!

1. June Iparis (Legend Trilogy, Marie Lu)

June is just 15 years old and she’s been climbing building like it’s nothing but what impressed me more is when she was studying her brother’s death and discovering secrets behind the government.

2. Penryn Young (Penryn Young and the End of Days, Susan Ee)

If being sting by a poisonous human-scorpion like monster and survive or slicing an archangel wings like it’s nothing is not kickass to you, you sort out your priorities.

3. Libby Strout (Holding Up The Universe, Jeniffer Niven)

Being a kickass is not always about kicking asses physically and killing someone. Blah blah blah.  For me the another definition of being a kickass is being brave to show the people who you are and standing up against the bullies without hurting anyone. Libby Strout is truly a kickass.

4. Hermione Granger (Harry Potter Series, JK Rowling)

Who wouldn’t choose Hermione as being one of the kickass literary females? She just punched Draco Malfoy in the face and did a lot kickass things mentally.

5. Caelena Sardothien (Throne of Glass Series, Sarah J. Mass)

She is one of the most kickass literary females ever. From what she’d been through since she was a child until now.

6. Reyna (Heroes of Olympus Series, Rick Riordan)

She is my favorite female character in Heroes of Olympus and being the leader of Camp Jupiter in such a young age.

7. Ringer (Fifth Wave Trilogy, Rick Yancey)

I’m thinking to put Cassiopeia in this list but as I think about it, I like Ringer more than Cassie (don’t worry it’s just a matter of point)

8.Isabelle Lightwood (Mortal Instrument Series, Cassandra Clare)

Though I haven’t finished the series yet (2 1/2 books left) I like Izzy,  she is the second sassiest character in the book after Alec, I think it’s in their genes.  There are a lot of fighting scenes where Izzy looks cool

9.Sophia Hatter (Howl’s Moving Castle, Diana Wynne Jones)

When Howl is having a hard time to transform into human again, Sophie did everything to save everyone even if it costs her life.

10. Kit (Dear Killer, Katherine Ewell)

There has been a lot of mix thoughts about this book but I love it. Kit is a serial killer and the way she kills people with mostly just her strength really intrigues me. (I don’t know if that’s a good thing)
